What is Sleep Debt
Sleep Debt is when the body doesn't get the right amount of sleep it needs each night, for example, if you lose an hour of sleep you will need to make up that hour somewhere down the road. If you don't take the time to make up that hour of sleep you will always be an hour short of sleep. You can "repay" sleep debt but it usually takes more then sleeping in on the weekends, depending on how much sleep you are missing. People who are sleep deprived may have the same symtomes of someone who didn't get any sleep the night before, even if they enjoyed a full nights sleep. Sleep debt is a very important thing to think about before you decide to blow off sleep.
